Located on the LeConte Medical Center campus, Thompson Cancer Survival Center – Sevier is a 16,000 square-foot center that brings world-class cancer care to the residents of Sevier and surrounding counties. Some of the services provided at Thompson Cancer Survival Center – Sevier include:

Radiation Therapy

Radiation Therapy is sometimes used in treating patients with certain types of cancers, when it is localized to one area of the body. Radiation Therapy is used to try to control or kill malignant cells. Services are available at the TCSC-Sevier campus through Thompson Radiation Services, a department of LeConte Medical Center.

PET/CT Scanning

PET Imaging is available at the Sevierville campus of Thompson Cancer Survival Center. The mobile PET unit will be at TCSC Sevier every two weeks on Tuesdays.  If needed, additional PET Services are available to Thompson Cancer Survival Center – Sevier patients at two facilities in Knoxville: Thompson Cancer Survival Center – Downtown and Thompson Cancer Survival Center – West. Thompson was the first facility in the region to offer Positron-Emission Tomography (PET). With its higher resolution, PET/CT can find tumors and the spread of cancer at the molecular level, long before they would become visible with other systems. It can also determine cancer stages for more effective treatment planning.

Chemotherapy/Infusion Services

LeConte Medical Center Infusion Services is pleased to offer Chemotherapy services at Thompson Cancer Survival Center – Sevier.
