At Covenant Health, our team of experts provides individualized, compassionate breast care to women of all ages and in all walks of life. With 11 breast centers located across our region, advanced imaging, breast MRI, and breast ultrasounds are more convenient than ever before. Many of our centers offer 3D mammography, which helps detect breast cancer sooner, even for women with dense breast tissue. When it comes to treating cancer, early detection is key.

About Breast Cancer
- One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
- Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in women, ranking only behind skin cancer.
- The American College of Radiology recommends annual mammograms for women over the age of 40.
- Early detection can result in more successful treatment, before cancer cells have a chance to spread.
About Covenant Health Breast Centers
Each of our breast centers is accredited by the American College of Radiology, and our highly trained staffs are dedicated to excellent care and patient comfort.
In addition, six of our locations are designated as Comprehensive Breast Imaging Centers by the American College of Radiology (ACR):

Covenant Health Breast Centers also have 11 ACR accreditations in the areas of mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy and breast ultrasounds.

Did you know?
- 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
- Mammograms alone find 85-90% of breast cancers.
- Mammography can detect cancer up to 2 years before it is detected with a self breast exam.
- The American Cancer Society recommends baseline mammogram between the ages of 35 and 40.
- In any given year, only 50% of women aged 40 – 85 years old have a mammogram.
The two main reasons women don’t get their annual screening:
- Uninsured/low-income
- Uneducated as to the importance of early detection
