Johnson will be responsible for overseeing all operations for Covenant Anesthesia Group, which consists of 34 anesthesiologists and over 100 CRNA practitioners. Covenant Anesthesia Group currently provides anesthesia services at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Parkwest Medical Center, Methodist Medical Center and five different joint venture surgery centers across Covenant Health’s enterprise.

“We are thrilled to welcome Washington to our team,” said Mike Belbeck, executive vice president of operations at Covenant Health. “He has extensive experience and knowledge of anesthesia operations, revenue cycle and a proven track record improving group performance. Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of South Alabama in Mobile and a master’s degree in human resource development from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri.
