January DAISY Award Winner – Emily Denton

Emily Denton, a nurse in the oncology unit, is the recipient of our January DAISY Award. Emily was nominated by the patient’s spouse for her helpful attitude and caring heart. Her nominator remarked that Emily was always running to help someone and consistently put her patients’ needs before her own. She noted that that nurses on the oncology unit have a special calling, and patients and their families feel a sense of peace knowing they are under Emily’s care.
