Covenant Health LeConte recently welcomed the birth of the community’s first 2025 New Year’s Baby. Dylan Torres-Mena was born on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 12:01 p.m. to proud parents Evelin and Nelson of Sevierville.
Weighing 6 pounds and measuring 20 inches long, Baby Dylan was delivered by Dr. Joseph Johns with LeConte Women’s Healthcare Associates.
The birth of the first baby of the year is a cherished Covenant Health tradition. This special time symbolizes hope, love, and new beginnings. To commemorate the occasion, the hospital presented the family with a special gift basket, including baby essentials and keepsakes.
