About the Program

Hypertension, the so-called “silent killer,” rarely has any symptoms, but nearly half of Americans have this condition.

Hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, is often preventable. While people cannot control some factors that contribute to the condition, such as age, family history and diabetes, they can make helpful lifestyle changes.

In the MED Talk, Dr. Rusul Alani will cover risk factors, symptoms, and complications associated with high blood pressure, as well as strategies for prevention and management.

The presentation will be Friday, April 11, from noon to 1 p.m. at Oak Ridge Senior Center, 1405 Oak Ridge Turnpike.

Seating is limited. Call 865-425-3999 to reserve your spot!
