March DAISY Award Winner: Haley Garland

Haley Garland is our March recipient of the DAISY award. She is one of our exceptional nurses in our labor and delivery unit who provide the best care for moms and babies every day. Haley was nominated by a patient for her comfort and care during the patient’s stay at Fort Sanders Regional. The patient was scared during delivery, and Haley helped ease the patient’s fears and comforted her in a way that immensely helped the patient. “That to me is how the perfect nurse should treat all patients,” Haley’s nominator said. “Thank you, Haley for being such a wonderful, compassionate nurse. I will never forget the comfort you gave me on the day of my baby’s birth.”
