Morristown-Hamblen Leader Receives National Recognition

Gordon Lintz, president and chief administrative officer of Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System, has been recognized on the 2023 Becker’s Hospital Review’s list of “107 Community Hospital CEOs to Know.” Lintz has served in his role since 2012.

Becker’s Hospital Review, a publication focusing on hospital business news for healthcare executives, notes that leaders named to this national list ensure patients in their communities have access to affordable community care, including areas such as acute care, primary care, rehabilitation and other public health services.

Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System, a member of Covenant Health, serves eight counties in the Lakeway region, bringing a multitude of services to the area, including stroke care, primary care, imaging and diagnostics and women’s services. Throughout his tenure as hospital administrator, Lintz has focused on improving access to high-quality healthcare and recruiting physicians to the area. He is involved with several local organizations and works with them to identify healthcare needs of the community and opportunities for health education.
